World’s Most Efficient Air Conditioner to Operate at West Coast Green Conference

Arvada, CO, September 19, 2006 – Coolerado Corporation announced today that it will be operating its Model R600 air conditioner at the West Coast Green conference in San Jose, CA from September 25-27, 2008.  The Coolerado R600 can cool a 2,500 square foot house using only 600 watts of electric power – less than 20% of what a traditional air conditioner would require.  Building owners report this system to be more comfortable than other air conditioning systems, which makes saving money while reducing their carbon footprint even sweeter.

Coolerado has also been selected to display its breakthrough technology in the Innovation Pipeline at the conference. The Innovation Pipeline will showcase new and advanced technologies of interest to show participants.  Coolerado will have an operable demonstration unit there that will intake air at over 140 degrees Fahrenheit and cool it down by more than 70 degrees with only the power of a fan and no chemical refrigerants.  They will also display how this technology can be applied in mobile applications such as vehicles, as well as scalable solutions for cooling industrial facilities. 

This advanced cooling technology is the result of over 8 years of research and development by Coolerado.  The technology uses renewable atmospheric energy to provide the energy for cooling and has been independently tested by organizations such as the Department of Energy and Pacific Gas and Electric.  There are several hundred Coolerado systems installed in commercial buildings and homes around the world.
